Vielle
Your music, audiobooks and podcasts in one small, private app
Vielle plays the files you already own. It's light and fast, every feature is a module you can switch off, and everything stays on your device. No account, no tracking, no subscription. Named after the vielle, a small medieval fiddle (say it "vee-EL").

Make It Yours
Every feature is a module you can switch off. Start from Minimal, Standard or Everything and fine-tune from there. Run it as a full library with artwork and visualisers, as plain black-and-white text, or as a pocket player with a touch wheel.
Your Own Library
MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, OGG, WAV and more. Add files through the Files app, or point it at any folder on a Mac. Browse by album, artist, song and genre.
Audiobooks and Podcasts
A proper shelf for books, with chapters, playback speed, a sleep timer and carrying on where you stopped. Follow podcasts alongside your music, and tune in to internet radio.
Vinyl View
Your album's cover spins as the record's label, with the arm creeping towards the middle as the song plays.
Album Flow and Visualisers
Flip through your covers, or put a visualiser up full screen. Plenty of themes, light and dark.
Your Own Servers
Connect to Jellyfin, Plex or Audiobookshelf, and stream or download for offline.
Private by Design
Your files stay on your device. No account, no analytics, no ads. Online extras like cover lookup are off until you turn them on. Free to use, with a one-time Pro unlock for the 10-band EQ, bit-perfect output, smart playlists, the tag editor and every theme and visualiser.
