Your cookbook index data is stored locally on your device. No personal information is collected or transmitted by the app.
Cookbook Index offers an optional community section where you can share your cookbook index with other users. If you choose to upload, your cookbook index data is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database. This data is visible to other users of the app. Your iCloud account identifier is used solely to associate uploads with your account and allow you to manage or remove your submissions.
You can delete your community submissions at any time from within the app. Once removed, your data is no longer visible to other users.
Cookbook Index does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The community feature relies exclusively on Apple's CloudKit infrastructure.
